Philip McFerran - Managing Director
Philip has more than seventeen years experience within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. He has covered many disciplines during that time including Production Management (sterile biotech), Validation, Engineering, Quality and Regulatory Affairs. He has previously held positions of Operations Director for a specialist engineering and validation consultancy, Quality Manager and Regulatory Affairs Manager.
Desmond McMahon – Quality Operations Director
Desmond has spent more than seventeen years in the Pharmaceutical industry, and has a broad experience in the manufacture and control of a number of dosage forms; solids, liquids, creams and sterile products (terminal and aseptic).
He has undertaken a number of roles within the Pharmaceutical Industry which have included QC and QA Manager, Sterile Forms Production Manager, Regulatory Affairs Manager and Global Director of Regulatory Operations.
He is also eligible to act as a Qualified Person.
Peter Griffin – Business Operations Director
Peter has held senior positions at several Blue Chip Pharmaceutical companies. Peter is the founder and Managing Director of Pharmalink Consulting Limited and has been instrumental in the success and direction of this business. Pharmalink has grown to over 70 employees in Europe, North America and Asia and remains the foremost independent Regulatory Affairs consultancy worldwide.
Una Loughrey – Clinical Operations Director
Una has 16 years experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry working at MSD, Abbott Laboratories, Innovex and GSK UK Ltd. Una has gained a wealth of experience in clinical research in increasingly senior positions within these companies and has lead numerous multi-national clinical studies in a number of different therapy areas, including critical care. As Clinical Research Manager and then Study Management Director within GSK UK, Una lead Medical Marketing teams developing strategies to maximize commercial benefit from clinical development programmes.
Judith Ball – Finance Director
Judith Ball is a qualified Chartered Accountant. She has significant experience working with young, fast growth companies having worked within the Entrepreneurial Services team of Ernst and Young. Subsequently she spent six years with Alfa Laval, the last two of which she was Finance Director for the UK operation. She gained further international experience as Group Financial Controller of SDL plc. She is responsible for all financial matters relating to the Company.
